What personal data we collect and why we collect it

The Controller processes the following personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulation”):

The above personal data must be processed for the processing of orders and further performance of the contract if a purchase contract is concluded between you and the seller. Such processing of personal data is permitted by Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation – the processing is necessary for the performance of the contract.

The Seller processes this data equally for the purpose of recording the contract and any future exercise and defence of the rights and obligations of the contracting parties. The retention and processing of personal data for the aforementioned purpose shall be for a period of 10 years from the execution of the last part of the performance under the contract, unless another legal regulation requires the retention of the contractual documentation for a longer period of time. Such processing is possible on the basis of Article 6(1)(c) and (f) of the Regulation – the processing is necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligation and for the purposes of the legitimate interests of the controller.

News and other business messages may be sent to the e-mail address or telephone number of the buyer, this procedure is allowed by § 62 paragraph 3 of Act No. 351/2011, on electronic communications, unless the buyer refuses it. These notifications can be unsubscribed at any time by any means – for example, by sending an e-mail or by clicking on a link in the commercial communication.

We measure your satisfaction with your purchase through e-mail questionnaires as part of the Verified Customers program, in which our e-shop is involved. These are sent to you every time you make a purchase with us, unless, in accordance with § § 62 of Act No. 351/2011 Coll. on electronic communications, as amended, you do not refuse the sending of e-mails for direct marketing purposes. The processing of personal data for the purpose of sending questionnaires within the framework of the Verified Customers programme is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest, which consists in ascertaining your satisfaction with your purchase with us. For sending questionnaires, evaluating your feedback and analysing our market position, we use a processing agent, which is the operator of the Heureka.sk portal, to which we may pass information about the goods you have purchased and your email address for these purposes. Your personal data is not passed on to any third party for its own purposes when sending email questionnaires. You can object to the sending of e-mail questionnaires within the framework of the Verified Customers program at any time by refusing further questionnaires using the link in the e-mail with the questionnaire. If you object, we will not send you the questionnaire any further.

The processing of personal data is carried out by COMMON s.r.o., i.e. the data controller. Personal data are also processed by processors for this controller:

Cookies, which are collected for the purpose of measuring site traffic and generating statistics relating to visitor traffic and behaviour on the site, are considered in bulk and in an anonymous form that does not allow the identification of an individual.

    • to effective judicial protection if you consider that your rights under the Regulation have been infringed as a result of the processing of your personal data in breach of the Regulation
    • file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection.

    Transfer of personal data to third parties

    We transfer your personal data to third parties:

    • Carrier of the goods: your data is passed on to the chosen carrier according to how you fill it in the order. They include your name and surname, delivery address, a telephone number where the carrier can contact you and, if cash on delivery has been selected, the amount to be paid when collecting the goods. The carrier is entitled to process the personal data that we transmit to it only for the purpose of delivering the goods and to delete the personal data without delay thereafter.
    • Payment cards: our company does not hold data about the payment cards you use to pay with us (unless it is stored, see next paragraph below). Only the secure payment gateway and the relevant banking institutions hold data about your payment cards.
    • Commercial communications: we may use a third party to send commercial communications. This entity is bound by a duty of confidentiality and may not use your personal data for any other purpose.
    • Complaint: for this purpose, we provide the service centre to which we send the product you have complained about with the data you provided when making the complaint.
    • Evaluation of products or services via Heureka.sk: In the case of sending questionnaires with purchase evaluation, your data (e-mail address, information about the purchased product/service) may be provided to the operator of the Heureka.sk portal (Heureka Group a.s.).

      Comments

      When site visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data that is displayed in the comment form as well as the IP address of the user and the User Agent of the browser to protect against spam.

      An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to Gravatar to verify that you are using it. Gravatar’s privacy policy can be found at: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment has been approved, your profile photo will be publicly displayed along with the content of your comment.

      Multimedia

      When uploading images to a website, you should avoid uploading images with EXIF GPS location data. Visitors to the site can download and view any location data from the images.

      Articles on this website may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other sites behaves the same as if the visitor had visited another website.

      How long we keep your data
